Water Method Meditation

The Taoist Water Method of meditation, called Sung Xin, or "relaxing into your heart-mind", is a gentle yet effective form of meditation that is attributed to the ancient sage Lao Tzu, author of the Tao Te Ching. Its practice enables us to recognize and dissolve obstructions in our body, mind, and spirit, just as water gradually wears away stones and other impediments in its path over time.  Gradually, we learn to soften our rougher edges and let go of the limiting influences of past traumas and conditioning, clearing the way for our own innate balance and clarity to emerge. Through this process we liberate ourselves to evolve into more mature, wise, and compassionate people.
